Product Reviews of Seventh Generation Natural Fabric Softener, Blue Eucalyptus and Lavender Scent, Ultra-Concentrated, 40-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 6)Product Review: Strange smell Summary: 1 Stars
I really liked the Blue Eucalyptus & Lavender smell from the bottle but after my clothes dried they smelled like old rotten oil. I had to re-wash my clothes. Not sure if it was a bad bottle but I probably will try another brand.
Product Review: The best Summary: 5 Stars
This does the job well, leaves and excellent smell and is environmentally friendly, all at a fair price. Can't beat that!!
Product Review: The best I've ever used! Summary: 5 Stars
This is seriously the best fabric softner I've ever used! It is natural, bio-degradable and totally safe for me and my family! I am so excited to be rid of the harmful and cancer leading toxins that you find in all other non-natural laundry cleaners and softners. You will love this product...it hardly takes any to get great results, its cost-effective and has a very nice scent!
Product Review: There is no pillow so soft as a clear conscience. - French Proverb Summary: 4 Stars
I had been using Tide for my laundry detergent and Downey for my fabric softener, for as long as I can remember. After being advised that the natural environment friendly products might be easier on my sensitive skin, I gave them a try. I first tried the Seventh Generation Laundry Concentrate, Blue Eucalyptus & Lavender, 50-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 6) and was so impressed that I decided to give the fabric softener a try. I am glad I did.
I don't think this fabric softener makes the clothes quite as soft as Downey, but it comes pretty darn close. What I have noticed is that Downey made some of my clothing fabrics feel like there was a film on them, Seventh Generation does not. Every fabric feels clean and soft.
I think the price is very comparable to the Downey, as well. In fact I pay only a little less for the Downey at my local grocery store. With Seventh Generation being so earth and animal friendly, I think it's more than worth the price.
My one complaint, and it seems I am not the only reviewer that feels this way, is that the scent doesn't last through the drying cycle. Your clothes still smell clean, but they don't have the blue eucalyptus and lavender smell I love so from the bottle. I really hope they fix that, my husband hopes they don't.
I am from this point on going to be using the Seventh Generation laundry products, they have won me over.
