This is my favorite fabric softener, and I've been using it for over 5 years now. It's a subtle scent, not overpowering, and it's all natural. I react terribly to added perfumes, dyes, and crap that conventional fabric softeners and laundry detergents use, but I have never had a problem with this. That's why I will never switch! Besides filling my softner compartment in my front load washer to the max with this product it barely leaves a streak of softness after drying in my dryer. (Mind that i almost always use medium heat). Except for yesterday i happen to dry my clothes on a low heat heat setting and VIOLA! What do you know? My clothes came out as if i had put softener. Well, i didnt find that out until now, now that the bottle is almost empty.
Well, i'll try the heat setting thing again, and if it works then i'm happy and the solution to my problem is solved.
But if my theory is true that medium to high heat affects the performance of this product, if not totally eliminates the purpose, this is not a good thing, and an issue the Seventh Gneration needs to address.

I'm using the subscription service from Amazon for this and I'm so happy with it. I LOVE not having to buy laundry soap at the store. I love having it delivered to my home. I love that I don't feel uneasy (like I did with previous soaps) about my kids wearing their clothes and the effects on my septic system. I love how well it works and I've been so pleasantly surprised at how much cleaner my clothes look. I use 1/2 a cap or less on large loads. I think the smell is nice, but there really isn't any smell left on the clothes after they're washed. I have no complaints about the soap. I hope it's saving as much petroleum as they claim!Product Review: Excellent value

I have ordered this now twice and have it on the subscription savings account. I spend very close to the same price as the common store brands and I am helping the environment (and consequently myself) out in the process. The fragrance is heavenly and if you take your clothes out before they are completely dry (very slightly damp) the smell will last. Also don't set the dryer on superhot. This will save energy and your garments in the long run as well.
