I used to buy this at Walgreens, but the case of 6 is a great deal from Amazon. I can't really compare against any other free & clear detergents b/c this is the first one I've used, but so far I've been satisfied. No more detergent-smelling dishes/cups. Overall, it is a pretty good dishwashing liquid. It doesnt give me dishpan hands and it smells neutral, I never notice anything.
I have many many many allergies to common stuff, so it was nice to find something that I could use and not sneeze or get a rash. All the "natural" Ivory, etc. soaps are just another name for a new smell that sounds better but still makes me allergic but costs more.
It is a little odd, but I use this as a shampoo as well. I am allergic to every shampoo I've tried (over 60+) and seen my 4th dermatologist (allergy specialist in NY recently) who was not able to suggest anything else. I use an off the shelf conditioner (Earth Science) for people with allergies.
While I dont value this aspect highly, it does make me feel good to use such a "earth focused" product.
NOTE:
I dont think gets rid of grease like regular $1 Ajax, but it is much better than most of the other alternatives. At least this has suds, and will cut the grease eventually.

Because this dish detergent doesn't bubble, I had a hard time believing it was actually cleaning my dishes because I couldn't see it (the bubbles of conventional dish detergents make us feel like it's really cleaning) or feel it (the conventional stuff is much goopier). But then after using this detergent for a couple weeks, I realized our dishes were indeed getting cleaned and have loved the fact that it doesn't smell toxic, is gentle on my skin and is better for the environment.Product Review: Good stuff

I saw this in the supermarket, and bought it because it was 'Green', which I don't normally do. I'm a single 45 year old man, and now here I am looking for it on line, and writing reviews about dishsoap. It cuts grease for me, no prob. This stuff also stops what I call "sponge-stink". I had been throwing them out after a week or two before this stuff. I just ran out of the 7th Gen, and replaced it with Dawn. (It wasn't on my market shelf any longer.) A week later, my sponge smells again, and this is with their new 'oder-stopping Lime' flavor. I really love this productor and amazon offer cheap price and free shipping. it makes my life easy. But the customer service is not good. i order whole case of this productors last weekend, but i can't get them on time. Because the poor packaging, the UPS refused to delieve to me, i've been told that it had been damaged. so, UPS mailed them back to sender.
So, when you wanna order this online, you have to think about shipping issues first. Otherwise, you will feel disappointed like me......
