Product Reviews of Seventh Generation Free & Clear Baby Wipes, 350 count

Product Review: New Favorite & Not too Dry
Summary: 5 Stars

These were great and not too dry at all. I've always bought the two main brands of wipes for my babies but did have to make homemade wipes for them when they had a diaper rash because the main brands would burn and make my kids cry. So I decided to try Seventh Generation wipes because of the reviews and I'm going to more green products. These came quickly and I got a great deal for the Subscribe & Save program. Not a tear was shed by my son who had a bad diaper rash.

Product Review: Not Worth It
Summary: 2 Stars

I am laughing hysterically from reading the other reviews which are referriing to the awful smell these wipes contain. I know EXACTLY what you mean and cannot understand why there were so many positive reviews and they do not mention this or, even stranger, they actually state these are unscented - definitely not true. Perhaps it is because I switched from Huggies Natural Care, which I liked very much, and they did not have a bad odor. I just wanted to try something more eco-friendly and cost effective, but 7th Generation's wipes are too thin and too malodorous to make it worth it. I am switching back and will be giving away the rest of this case of wipes I purchased. I would feel bad about selling these to someone else.

Product Review: Not as advertised.
Summary: 1 Stars

I have a several problems with these wipes:

1) They are NOT unscented as advertised! They are in fact heavily scented, very similar to a cheap generic brand- not a pleasant smell either.

2) They are thin.

3) The dimensions of each individual wipe are too small, giving poor coverage when wiping.

4) They are not quilted.

We normally use Kirkland wipes and like them quite a bit, however, since I prefer to use 'greener' products, I thought it would be nice to try Seventh Generation wipes on Subscribe and Save.

The fact is, these wipes smell unnatural and I need to use more of them due to the texture and dimension of them. My son also has a rash now that hasn't gone away. I am in no way certain that it had to do with the wipes alone, but I do think they have added to the problem. We don't get a lot of rashes around here.

Product Review: Not enough Liquid
Summary: 2 Stars

We wanted to buy these for a softer option for our babies bum as she tends to get diaper rashes easily every so often.

So we tried them but were disappointed as there seemed to be a shortage of liquid on the wipe and it just seemed like they dried out very quickly. This made them almost unusable.

We ordered two different shipments even, with the same result.

We ended up getting "everything-free" generic brand wipes from our local warehouse shopping store with great results

Product Review: Not so great
Summary: 2 Stars

Would not buy again! Actually going to give the rest of the packs away. Compared to the usual Huggies Natural Care, these wipes are terrible. They are thinner, smaller, and drier. I basically have to use 2 wipes at a time and then a few more. With the Huggies wipes, I use one at a time and get the job done with fewer.
