I am the organic, recycle poster queen...but alas, I am a princess....and these tissues are meant for prison inmates at best. I really wanted to like them, but I will NEVER purchase them again. I have banished the large carton quantity of these rough style tissues to my boys rooms and the basement to give them the rustic, in the woods, feel they so relish. I have gone back to perhaps not eco friendly, but definitely comfortable Puffs. When they incorporate comfort into the recycled product I will be the first in line. These tissues are really reminiscent of the Sears catalog days in the outhouse.Product Review: good for the environment, rough on your skin

I have bought these for years and will continue to buy them, because I support Seventh Generation as a company and admire the commitment they have to environmental practices and products. I'm glad to get a product that I think is a small improvement environmentally over conventional tissue. However...I always have a hard time getting the first few tissues out of the box, I find the tissues a little "dusty" (seems like extra fibers), and they are really rough on our nose/lip, especially when you have a cold and need to use them often.Product Review: kleenex

I understand the importance of taking care of the environment, but is this the best they can do? First off, the tissues are poorly packaged, such that getting the first one out of the box is likely to tear it or pull several others out of the box. More significantly, these wipes feel like light grit sandpaper. There has to be better options. I can't help thinking that some of these earth-friendly companies like Seventh Generation profit from our environmental good will through their marketing.
