Product Review: Great product but keep cap closed!

My wife and I have used Seventh Generation dish liquid soap for a little over a year now and we love it. It works great on dishes, smells wonderful, and it's eco-friendly. Additionally, I have also found this soap to be mild on my sensitive skin, and I do not experience red/dry hands after cleaning pots and pans. How can you go wrong?
However, I would like to supply a nugget of information for any potential buyer. I'm not sure why (maybe because of the plant-based ingredients), but if you leave the cap open for periods of time, the soap seems to turn sour...very sour. It will literally smell like something you need to throw out with the trash. Because of this I do not buy this item in bulk. I simply do not use that much at a time to justify having several bottles at one time. I choose to buy one bottle at a time and ensure the cap is properly sealed after each use--no problems since.
Product Review: Great product for sensitive skin/allergies

I have very sensitive skin, and I am allergic to most detergents. I used to have to wear rubber gloves while washing my dishes to keep my skin from breaking out, but since I have tried the Seventh Generation dish liquid, I no longer have to wear heavy rubber gloves when doing the dishes! This is the ONLY dish detergent that I have found that does not cause my skin to break out.
I was not expecting much when I bought this, but I like to try natural products and work on being more environmentally conscious, but most natural cleaning products do not perform as well as those that are loaded with chemicals. I did not notice any difference in the cleanliness of my dishes. It performs as well as other leading brand name dish liquids.
I now only use this dish liquid, even though other brands are cheaper, on sale, etc. I also have recommended it to several friends and family members.

I will start this off by letting you know i have no purchased this soap off of amazon but I have gotten the free and clear powder laundry detergent when it was available for subscripe & save.
On to the dish soap....
There are many reasons why I love this soap. First and foremost I love it because it cleans my dishes. I hand wash my dishes and a small bit of this soap goes a long way. There is never any residue on any dishes including the glass. I also like that it does not contain any dyes or perfumes. I have gotten contact dermititis( allergic reaction on my hands) due to some soap, which was quite painful and I had to throw out the soap because I could not use it any longer. It is hard for people to believe that things can just be clean without some fruity smell. No your dishes do not have to smell of apples or grapefruit to know they are clean. And also a cause near and dear to my heart is that this soap is reducing the environmental load us humans are putting on the planet. I use all my cleaning supplies from this company and could not be more satisfied. The stigma of "green" products not doing as good a job is not true.
Please try this soap, whether it is from amazon or your local store. Do yourself and the planet a favor.

This soap works well. I like the fact that I can wash my fruits and veggies before eating them and they don't have a chemical(detergent) taste on them. I buy this stuff by the case. It's worth it.
