Product Reviews of Seventh Generation Chlorine Free Training Pants, 2T-3T, (26-34 Lbs), 29 Count (Pack of 4)

Product Review: No leaks, good fit (holds a lot of the wet stuff!)
Summary: 5 Stars

I've used 7th Generation diapers since my daughter's birth and have loved them. Based on reviews here about fit I almost decided not to buy them. I went to the store, bought a pack, and we both like them. She is a tiny 2 year old at 23 lbs and these fit great.

She'll miss the pictures that she enjoys on the Pampers but I surely won't miss the nasty chemical perfume smell of that brand.

Product Review: No more diaper rash!
Summary: 5 Stars

When my daughter was ready to start potty training, I got her some big name brand training pants and she started to get horrible diaper rashes, even though she was rarely wearing them wet and then only for short periods of time. She had always worn Seventh Generation diapers before, so I was SO HAPPY to see that they're making training pants now. She's young and tiny so I wouldn't mind a smaller size, but the 2t-3t works well enough on her tiny bum. The best part is NO MORE DIAPER RASH. I love Seventh Generation!

Product Review: Okay, but leaks.
Summary: 3 Stars

I got these because my son was potty trained during the day, but not yet at night. I found it was hard for him to go potty at night with diapers and thought it would be easier to have something that he could pull down like underwear when he wakes up at night. They fit just fine and he likes them okay during the day when we need to use them instead of underwear. But at night, they leak like crazy. I end up putting diapers back on him at night and just dealing with the hassle of taking the diaper off a different way. We do still use these occasionally during the day, but definitely not at night.

Product Review: Only one thing missing
Summary: 4 Stars

I love Seventh Generation products. These training pants have good absorption and minimal decorations on them. My only complaint is that they don't have easy-open sides, so changing wet training pants in public is challenging as you have to remove the child's socks and pants in order to change him/her. There is always the option to change the child on the changing table, but it can be hard to get a child who enjoys using the toilet to cooperate on the changing table. It would be great if 7Gs training pants opened on the sides so parents don't have to undress thier toddlers from the waist down. Huggies Pull-Ups have great easy-open sides that still allow the child to pull the training pants up and down.

Product Review: Prefer the diapers
Summary: 3 Stars

I've found this brand to be worth every extra penny in terms of design and reliability. The pull-ups, however, don't come in many sizes and are therefore not as good a fit (tend to give my kid a wedgie). They're also less absorbant than the diapers. My son still lies down for changing, and although you can rip the side seams open to take them off, the pull-ups are more difficult to remove than diapers. My son seems to have a harder time getting them off too (which seems counterproductive in terms of potty-training).

Maybe I just got these too early in the process. I won't be buying them again until my kid is almost ready for underpants.
