OK, they are absorbant, but the tapes!!! This new diaper has a fat tape that left a mark on my daughter's skin. The skin gets irritated unless you get the tape positioning just right to the milimeter. On the plus I know they are better for the skin of rashy kids from the reviews-it's just a shame they changed a perfect product. Oh, they are roomy, so you don't have to go up a size, as with huggies.Product Review: The quality has gone down hill

Seventh Generation are bragging that they have new and improved diapers. Fact of the matter is, the previous version is much better. The "stick-tacks" are not as adhesive I guess because they open even you don't want them to, and in fact my son for the first time woke up on a wet mattress, as the diaper openend sometime at night...
I've been a faithful client with 7th Gen eveer since my son was born and liked their product alot. This so-called "new and improved" version however sucks!
I'm looking for alternatives for 7th Gen when it comes to disposable chlorine free and well absorbing diapers. If anyone knows, please let me know!

We've never had a problem with Seventh Generation diapers: they are sturdy, absorbent, and well-constructed. I assume they are comfortable, since my son hasn't complained yet! While they are not as cute as the commercial diapers with cartoon characters and the like, they do come with less of the environmental guilt. The Amazon Subscribe and Save price is the best I've seen for these diapers--about half what they cost at the local Whole Paycheck.Product Review: Very Good Diapers

I have been using Seventh Generation diapers for my second child due to his sensitive skin and I love this wonderful chlorine free product. Their diapers do wonderful job (no leaking just like Pampers ) and they are not overpriced at all. I also use their baby wipes to clean hands for my kids and myself since they are all natural(bye bye to chemicals). I want to say big thanks to Seventh Generation.
