Toilet paper is toilet paper. Yes, I know all about those commercials about soft and squishy baby bottom lovers. However, I assure you that the only thing you should be worrying about is if the finger brakes through.
Let us look at the bigger picture. How could you pass your trees knowing that you needlessly killed one of their kind? Moreover, for what, a moment of not worrying about where the tissue comes from?
This, 2-Ply Bathroom Tissue is just one of the many great products from Seventh Generation. In addition, it is actually economic besides eco-friendly.
Steven king tried using something else when he was playing cowboy as a kid. It turned out to be poison ivy. You do not want to make the same mistake.

Great product that for anyone. This is no flimsy tissue that falls apart upon use and does not feel like sandpaper. As good as brand names that use virgin hardwood from old growth forests. And they are great for the the environment. These are great compared to brandnames which have regular rolls around 260 sheets or double rolls but are only 400 or 450 sheets. These are 500 sheets and comparable in price. I would recommend anyone give them a try.Product Review: It's just toilet paper, people

Some people might complain of the roughness of this toilet paper, but I think it's toilet paper, people, and you're just going to get poo on it. It is definitely softer than rest area toilet paper, but it's not going to be as soft as a luxury paper. I would compare this to Scott one-ply in terms of softness. It works just fine for my family and me. The best part is the fact that it's made from recycled material (why isn't all toilet paper?), which is exactly why I buy it. No it isn't soft. It doesn't create the ultimate experience in bathroom luxury. But it makes me feel better to use eco friendly disposable products than to have a cushy soft wipe. I mean, really, its not like I spend my day thinking about how nice it will be to use a nice fluffy double thick tissue on my next trip to the loo. Its just toilet paper, a utilitarian neccessity in this part of the world. I specifically purchased the 2 ply sheets of toilet paper (instead of the 1 ply) because I enjoy a softer gentler tissue on the toilet. You need to use a more than you would of other thicker brands, and it doesn't feel so nice either. I can only imagine how much worse the 1 ply would be.
