Product Reviews of Seventh Generation Bathroom Tissue, 2-Ply Sheets, 500-Sheet Rolls (Pack of 48)

Product Review: 7th Generation Bathroom Tissue
Summary: 4 Stars

I was surprised to find each tissue roll individually wrapped. I guess it is as pictured, but I had a different packaging image in mind that didn't waste so much paper packaging. It would be better if the rolls were packaged together instead of individually wrapped.

Product Review: 7th Generation Toilet Paper
Summary: 5 Stars

In reading some of the other reviews, I was happy to find another soul allergic to conventional toilet paper. And no, it isn't pretty or fun. At some point in my life, I became chemically sensitive to everything. It became necessary to find an alternative. We have been using this brand for so long, I don't even remember how we came upon it. Maybe at Whole Foods? It was also interesting to find that some people use more of this than the more fluffier brands. I think we tend to use less. It's less bulky than other brands and I think it is actually more efficient for its intended purpose. But what I appreciate the most is that it doesn't smell of anything. No artificial floral scents that are annoying and cloying to the senses. It flushes well and doesn't plug up your toilet (and all are low-flow these days). We are on a septic and I'm happy that we are not adding to the contamination of the ground water. I also appreciate that it's individually wrapped. It seems like it stores tighter and requires less space than 4 or 8 rolls in the poly packs. I love that it can be ordered on the subscription program, ships for free, AND it shows up right when you need it! I do not want to be one of the pilgrims leaving Costco with a cart full of toilet paper. For those of you that complain it's not soft enough, keep this is mind: my mother (now deceased) used an outhouse and the Sears catalog. Kind of keeps in all into perspective!!! You can recycle the wrapping and the core, what more can we ask of it! It's just one small easy thing we can do or our planet.

Product Review: A Great Recycled Product!
Summary: 5 Stars

Toilet paper you can feel good about! If you are a reading this then you probably at least have some kind of concern for the environment. What better way to do your part than with a product you use every day. Not only is the toilet paper from recycled material (minimum of 80% post consumer!) but it is not packaged in plastic like every other toilet paper you find at the store. Each roll is wrapped in paper and the only other packaging is the big cardboard box they are shipped in.

After reading some of the reviews I was wondering about the quality and softness of this paper, but I decided to give it a try. I am glad I did as I love this paper. I dislike the fluffy brands that get lint every where. This paper is not like that, so if that is the kind of paper you are use to and like be warned. It is still a step or two above public restroom paper. It is better than what we have at work, so it from my perspective its quality is great. In reality the softness and quality is going to depend on your opinion and point of view. I find it to be soft enough for me. It does not feel uncomfortable at all. Your opinion may vary though. I plan on continuing to use this toilet paper so I hope Amazon continues to stock it, as it is rather expensive to buy from the stores in my area.

Product Review: A Little Rough
Summary: 3 Stars

I bought this TP in an effort to be more environmentally friendly and I give kudos to the company for giving me the opportunity. However, I'm afraid I'm a little pampered when it comes to TP. This product feels basically the same as what you would find in a public restroom. It's acceptable, comparable to Scott tissue in general look/feel/texture. I find myself using a lot more than I do with my regular brand, which is thicker and softer. I'd say it's fine for number 1, but not so great for number 2. So I might keep some around for the bathroom I don't normally poo in :)

Product Review: A little scratchy, but the environment is worth it!
Summary: 4 Stars

OK- I really hate giving up my Charmin, but if this is better for the envoroment I will use it. I received it the other day and it was way better than I expected. It has a nice print in it, no wood looking pieces, but it is not very soft.(but softer than other brands I have used.) It does the job and I will continue to buy it because it is better for my septic tank and the environment.
