Product Reviews of Seventh Generation Bathroom Tissue, 1-Ply Sheets, 1000 Sheet Roll (Pack of 48)Product Review: Does the job.... but....... Summary: 3 Stars
It does the job, and makes me feel that I am doing my part for the planet, but the paper is SO THIN, that much more is needed than with another brand, and I take a lot of ribbing from my more conventional friends.
Product Review: Don't waste your money Summary: 1 Stars
Cheap and flimsy. I tried it....big mistake. Will never purchase this product again.
Product Review: Easy to "do the right thing." Summary: 5 Stars
Fills a need for those of us who wish to do the right thing by using recycled paper products, but find them hard to obtain locally. Large rolls of good quality bathroom tissue, and with free shipping, at an affordable price. Amazon, please continue to offer this worthy product.
Product Review: Falls apart instantly when wet Summary: 1 Stars
DON"T buy this one! I purchased a few rolls once, and was grateful when it was gone. (I do recommend 7th Generation's 2-ply tissue.)
If you are likely to have to deal with lots of moisture of ANY type (you know who you are...), you're likely to end up with sodden shreds of this TP in your messy fingers. Especially inconvenient if one is, say, over-nighting in an environmentally-sensitive facility with primitive plumbing, or dealing with the vagaries of female plumbing. This tissue has NO wet strength at all. (Adding a second layer apparently adds a lot of strength, and I find that 3 to 5 squares of 2-ply works better than three or four times as many squares of single-ply. Double up and use less!)
Product Review: Good for people and the earth Summary: 5 Stars
Free of dyes and fragrances for those who have chemical allergies. Ideal for low-flow toilets. Made of 100% recycled paper!!! (Eighty percent of that comes from post-consumer sources. Other recycled brands use 30% or less post-consumer.) Even the packaging is recycled and recyclable; it's paper, not plastic. Although this product is NOT cottony soft, it is very much okay. Small sacrifice for the huge gains of using it.
