...everyone should use this tp... but with that said, you must know that it's thinness will shock you the first time you use it. it's 1 ply and you have to unroll twice as much to get what you normally use... ( the rolls seem to go on forever, so it's good value for money.) Once you get over the initial shock, you know you're doing the right thing for the environment and it kind of feels good, y'know?! Not as soft as certain brands, but fine, and not as rough as let's say, Scotts or a cheap generic. No plastic wrapping, which I love. 80% POST consumer content, which is rare. 7th Generation is good like that. When you check the label on some supposedly "green" brands, they are actually recycled with pre-consumer content. I don't even understand that... In any event, the roll is fairly large, so it doesn't run out instantly, and they are easy to store and stack. I think the price is very reasonable in light of the features. And you get to have a clean conscience -- you know exactly where all those TPS reports that you threw in the recycling bin are going!Product Review: Best recycled toilet paper!

Well, this is my first review ever on Amazon! I've tried a bunch of other recycled toilet paper products, including Trader Joe's, and this one (1) last the longest and (2) is soft. I highly recommend this toilet paper and am thrilled it's available through Subscribe & Save (additional 15% off) on Amazon. Worth a try! We use quite a few Seventh Generation products and I had previously purchased a case of the 2-ply bathroom tissue. When I reordered, I got the 1-ply by mistake.
We're using it, but I will be glad to see it go so I can get the 2-ply again. I would gladly sacrifice a little comfort for what is hopefully a more environmentally friendly product. This version, however, just isn't usable.
If you are considering this, I strongly recommend the 2-ply instead.
Product Review: Cheapest Recycled Toilet Paper per Sheet

I did a cost comparison on Amazon on all the toilet paper they sell. I took looked at one with free shipping & used the subscription rate (for the extra 15% off) on every one. This particular one with 1000 sheets cost the least per sheet of all recycled toilet paper at the time of this review. Actually, the only other tisse (including non-recycled) that cost less per sheet was the Scott 1000 sheets.
So, going green doesn't have to cost a lot of money. It might actually save you money.
