The wipes are sort of dry and do not do the best at cleaning up a lot of "mess." I would still use these over pampers though because of the health factor. At least they do not contain formaldehyde.Product Review: A very good product

We used these wipes for about two years and found them quite useful right up through potty training. They are durable and moist, don't smell weird and didn't cause any rashes, etc. The small packs are pleasantly portable, and I still carry a pack around in our ex-daiper bag, for use wiping faces, cleaning hands, etc., while out in the park or on the go. I HAVE USED THESE WIPES FOR 2 YEARS AND HAVE NO NEED TO BUY ANYTHING ELSE.
I FIRST BECAME AWARE OF THE POTENTIAL HAZARDS OF MAINSTREAM (PAMPERS, HUGGIES, ETC) WIPES IN THE HOSPITAL WHEN MY SON WAS BORN. THE HOSPITAL PROVIDED LITTLE WARM WASHCLOTHS FOR DIAPER CHANGES BECAUSE OF THEIR CONCERN OVER THE CHEMICALS IN WIPES BEING ABSORBED BY BABIES TENDER SKIN. THERE ARE SO MANY UNAVOIDABLE CHEMICALS AND TOXINS THAT WE ARE EXPOSED TO EACH DAY. THIS IS ONE THING I CAN CONTROL, AND BE SURE THAT I AM NOT ADDING MORE CHEMICALS TO MY SON. THE ONLY COMPLAINT I HAVE HEARD ABOUT THEM IS THAT THEY ARE NOT AS WET AS OTHER WIPES. I DO NOT HAVE AN OPINION ABOUT THIS BECAUSE I PUT THE WIPES IN A WARMER/DISPENSER AND ADD WATER, BECAUSE THE WARMER DRIES OUT ANY KIND OF WIPES.

I had been using Pampers extra sensitive wipes and had been happy with them. When I ran across the 7th generation wipes I decided to give them a shot. I absolutely love them. They don't have any strong scent, they do a great job cleaning, and I have no complaints about the wipes themselves.
I have a small quip about the packaging. When we use these as portable wipes in the diaper bag I have trouble keeping the bag shut. I wish 7th generation sold a portable variety that you could fill with refills (with a hard plastic closure or something like that). For now I have been moving the 7th generation wipes into my Pampers portable packaging. I know there are hard plastic wipe cases on the market but I like having the flexible packaging with a more secure way to reclose the wipes so that they don't dry out.
Anyway, these are great wipes!
