Product Reviews of Seventh Generation 2X Conc., Free & Clear, 32-Ounce (Pack of 6)

Product Review: Broken Bottles
Summary: 1 Stars

When we received the product two of the containers were broken open and all over the contents of the box. The deal is not very good when you loose two bottles in transport.

Product Review: Cleans better than Tide for the same price
Summary: 5 Stars

I love this laundry detergent! I've been using it for a while now and am still very pleased with it. I used to use Tide because my kids are pretty hard on their clothes, but I don't like using the harsh chemicals. I switched to this and it seems to actually clean better than Tide did. I also read somewhere that it has near undetectable levels of 1,4 dioxane, while Tide had among the highest levels so I'm glad I made the switch.

Product Review: Clothes still smelly
Summary: 1 Stars

My boyfriend INSISTS on using this brand of detergent. I wont for a few reasons, the first is that its very expensive (about $6 for a tiny bottle) and doesn't last long when you do large loads of towels and bedding weekly. So I use Arm and Hammer for my stuff and household stuff, and use this crap for his clothes since its important to him.
Anyway, what I've noticed about this detergent is that his clothes still smell when they come out of the wash (the armpits even still had deodorant residue. WTF?) it fades darks quickly, and leaves clothes feeling overall starchy. So...what does it DO? Seems pretty useless as a detergent if it can't even get the armpit smell out. (and my bf is not unreasonably smelly, just a male lol)
Seems to me the consumers of this product are more concerned with what the brand stands for than actually having clean clothes.

Product Review: Excellent for baby as well.
Summary: 5 Stars

My baby has eczema and this is what I use to wash her clothes. It's free of fragrances and dyes which is the best. I really like Seventh Generation products.

Product Review: Excellent product for sensitive skin and HD washing machines
Summary: 5 Stars

I have very sensitive skin and can only use detergents that are totally free of all perfumes and dyes. I have been using this product for over two years, and it has been wonderful and I have not been allergic at all. I like that this detergent is better for the earth, my clothes and my body than the commercial stuff that is not eco-friendly. Seventh Generation has a lot of great products, but this is by far my favorite. I also like that this detergent is good to use in HD washing machines. It is 2x concentrated so you only need to use a tiny bit (about half a capful) for a full load. I will keep buying this detergent probably forever - that is how much I like it!
