I agree these scissors are not as good of quality as I was expecting...for $18 (way overpriced) I think you might want to spend a couple more bucks and get one that is longer (6" or more) and go with the metal handles. I just used these for the first time last night and there is no way you could use them on wet hair or on a large chunk as your stylist does. Instead of closing the scissors all the way, you will have to open and close them--defeating the purpose of "thinning".Product Review: Seki Edge Blending scissors review

This product is a piece of junk. It isn't sharp at all and it pulls your hair when you snip it. Huge disappointment.
It is so blunt that I find it hard 'thinning' a bunch of hair. Sometimes it can't even cut through and the results from using this scissors is just horrible. I do not recommend anyone to buy this.
