Yes, it is rapid dissolving. Do not expect it to perform like a thick, plush tissue since it is 1-ply. It is much like the original scott. It will save our septic system, I'm sure!Product Review: Save money & the environment with this TP

Yes, I am picky about my toilet paper, & this is the best TP I've found for me! It is single ply which is hard to find in stores. Single ply flushes much better & saves me money also. When I was using double ply (& now I see they are making triple ply paper)...I was really wasting a lot of paper it seemed, plus I was always running out of TP? The packages were a lot of fluff inside, but did not last very long. This single ply is soft enough, flushes better, & lasts much longer..Scott Single ply TP is much better for the environment..& perfect for SEPTIC tank systems.Product Review: Scott Rapid Dissolve Toilet Paper

This toilet paper seems to be very similar to the Scott 1000 that we had previously bought. It does dissolve a few seconds faster than the Scott 1000, but other than that seems to be the very same. I could not locate this toilet paper at my local stores, so I called someone who works for Kimberly Clark and they said it would be located in the automotive(or camping) section. I still cannot locate it so we are still using the Scott 1000. It is good to use in a RV. It dissolves must quicker than regular bathroom tissue. I would recommend its use.
