Product Reviews of Scott Naturals Bath Tissues, White, 12 440-Count Rolls (Pack of 4)

Product Review: Your UPS guy will know how much you poop
Summary: 4 Stars

This is pretty good TP but you should be aware that it comes in a big cardboard box that says "SCOTT TOILET PAPER" on it, with 4 12-packs inside. I use Subscribe & Save (since I figure you're always going to need TP) and it occurred to me that the UPS guy may wonder why we receive so much toilet paper. If you don't care, this is pretty soft & strong TP.

Product Review: not so environmentally friendly :(
Summary: 1 Stars

Yay! You're trying to buy "greener" household products! I just started the process about a year and a half ago and I was initially skeptical about Recycled Toilet paper. Turns out, your bum doesn't care...nope, not really - and even then maybe only occasionally.

So, why only one star? I bought this paper once but then realized it's only 40% recycled, and what's worse it's bleached with toxic chlorine compounds. Whoa! Not so fast! I've found loads of greener Toilet Paper brands that are greener with no tradeoff- and they are not exotic, poor quality, expensive, or hard to find!

All the following brands are also available on Amazon and have a higher content of recycled paper and use safer bleaching methods-
Seventh Generation
Green Forest
Natural Value
These are all made up of 100% recycled paper and are not bleached with chlorine.

You can also buy the Trader Joe's Brand or Whole Foods' 365 brand- it's 100% recycled and non chlorine bleached.

UNLIKE SCOTT NATURALS - which is only 40% recycled, and what's worse- it's all bleached using the ECF method which uses Chlorine Dioxide to bleach the paper- there is another process called PCF, which many other makers of TP and paper products use.

Product Review: yay for the environment, but buy a different brand.
Summary: 1 Stars

This was awful. I had high hopes that this tissue would be softer than other brands of recycled tp. This TP was the roughest thinnest tp I have ever used. I have tried several other recycled tissues and this is by far the worst. Save yourself the money and buy a different brand.
