Product Reviews of Scott Bath Tissue, White, 20-Count Packages (Pack of 2)Product Review: Forests are being destroyed to make toilet paper Summary: 1 StarsForests are being destroyed to make toilet paper, facial tissues, paper towels and other disposable paper products. I used to buy Scott, but I can't in good conscience continue, so I am buying Seventh Generation toilet paper from Amazon. Many big brands also still use chlorine bleach, a very toxic substance containing chlorinated organic compounds and dioxins, to whiten their product when safer methods are available. I've recently learned that if every household in the United States replaced JUST ONE ROLL of virgin fiber toilet paper (500 sheets) with 100% recycled ones, we could save 423,900 trees!! If you can't afford to buy all your paper from a green producer, maybe you could just replace ONE roll each time you shop. Here is your chance to make a small change that will reap big benefits for our environment. Go to the NRDC website to see which disposable paper products use the most post-consumer recycled material and non-chlorine bleaching, and also to see how you can pressure the big paper companies to increase their post-consumer paper content.
Product Review: Calclation problems Summary: 5 Stars40 rolls at .55 cents each is $22.00. The price offered currently is $29.96 (including the 15% discount) equals .75 cents per roll, which is the regular price of 1 roll at most stores. The product is good, but this purchase offers convienence at a standard price.
Product Review: Scott bath Tissue Summary: 5 StarsGreat price on this ...the best TP on the market. Great way to keep stocked up
Product Review: 1 ply and scratchy Summary: 1 StarsBecause of the great reviews I assumed this TP was the stuff dreams were made of. Instead, I got more cushion in the TP in a state park porta potty. If you value your delicate areas, go with something like the Charmin Ultra Bathroom Tissue, 8 Giant Rolls (Pack of 5).
On the pro side, I have not had a single toilet clog from this stuff. It is just so thin that it all goes down in one flush.
Product Review: A soft, sturdy tissue for your "delicate tissues." Summary: 5 StarsI never, ever thought I'd be writing a review of T.P., the white stuff kids use to wrap around trees on prank nights out on the town. (Do they still do that?) There was a time (many years ago) when I was too bashful to pick it up at the grocery store for my mother. But times have changed ... so on with my review:
Scott tissue has long been a favorite of my family because it's tough enough to get the job done while still remaining soft and gentle. I like the fact that there's so many sheets on one roll which makes it last longer, meaniing fewer trips to the store.
I can't see purchasing this through the mail, though, because it's too bulky. But it's a great product!!!
