I discontinued usage of the original (no msm) after doing some research and checking with my doctor who did not believe these things worked. After a few weeks my pain level grew much higher. I have been taking this version now for 3 months and pain is mostly gone. I wish I could find some non company research which was favorable but still they do seem to work for me.
Description of Schiff Move Free Advanced Plus MSM - 180 Tablets
Move Free Advanced is an exclusive Schiff Nutrition formula that combines Uniflex with Joint Fluid, Glucosamine and Chondroitin. Schiff found two new advanced ingredients - Uniflex and Joint Fluid - which, when added to glucosamine, doubled the effectiveness vs glucosamine and chondroitin alone. Uniflex is a patent-pending ingredient system that works as a powerful anti-oxidant. It's a natural ingredient system based on two herbs - Chinese Scullcap and Black Catechu - which have been proven to be very effective.
