Product Review: Still a long way to go

The product is good and after a while using it I could feel some difference in the scars but nothing dramatic. One good thing is that they are no longer itchy. My scars are old queloid scars so I guess I have to continue using for a few months to see the results. They adhere well to the skin but is important to wash the sheets at least once a day. Also, they do not last 28 days or so as advertised; I have to change my sheets once a week, but since the scars are small it is not a huge problem for me. Product Review: Caveat Emptor

I agree with the other one star reviewer. I could not keep these sheets on my knee - they always came off at night and then wouldn't stick back on again. They were also very uncomfortable to wear for the (usually one day) period that they did stay on - my skin couldn't breathe. After 3 or 4 tries I gave up. Luckily my scar is fading nicely all by itself. I believe many of the 5 star reviews are "plants". Buyer beware.Product Review: Don't Stay On

Just as previous posters have said, these do not stay on during sleep. I find them in the bed after one night of use. And I am not a restless sleeper, tossing and turning. I've tried washing them in every gentle soap I can think of as directed, but nothing restores the elasticity. I was recommended ScarAway by my physical therapist after a shoulder injury and surgery. I had a thick scar that was quite raised and thickened. The stiffness of my scar made my recovery very difficult. After only a few days of using ScarAway, my scar was markedly softened and much more pliable. I have completed the scar therapy and the difference is astounding. It got rid of the bulk of my scar completely flattening it to the level of my surrounding skin. It also faded the color from red to almost matching my normal skin color. I wore the ScarAway sheets almost all the time, taking it off only to shower. I purchased some of the long Scar away sheet as well and I got well over a week out of each sheet. Scar away was very helpful with reducing my discomfort from my short seams. They used to rub on the scar and cause more irritation, but the scaraway completely eliminated this problem for me. I wore a hurt free wrap over it at night because of the location and the curves of the area where the scar runs. My scar is quite large...almost 8" long (The ScarAway 7" sheet actually stretches to over 8" long so the size was perfect for me). I would highly recommend Scar away for anyone recovering from surgery. It worked better that I ever imagined it would.

Product Review: Worked like magic on my scar - AMAZING!

I had used these last year on my daughter (flat burn scars), but my scar was more severe so I did not think of these initially. My physical therapist recommended ScarAway to me and my results and progress were nothing short of amazing. I used daily..it was very easy. You just peel off the liner and press onto your scar. (It says you can cut it for smaller scars, or wear two or more together for larger scars, but the patch size was perfect for my particular scar size.) There was an IMMEDIATE difference in the texture of my scar. It softened significantly within the first few days and my therapist noticed the increased mobility at my next appointment due to the "loosening" (for lack of a better word) of the scar tissue. It has been 8 weeks and ScarAway has all but eradicated my scar tissue and given me back mobility I thought I had lost. I will continue to use it because every day it still looks and feels better and better. I will update in another 4 weeks or so. All around, amazing, high quality product at a great price. Worked great for us on minor burn scars as well as my really bad injury/surgery scar.
