We bought this thermometer from Walmart for our 6 month old and have had nothing but problems. The "low battery" sign has been on regardless of changing out to a new battery, not once but twice. Then it continues to show the temperature of not only our son, but also of ourselves to be around 94 degrees or too "Lo" to scan. We are finally breaking down and attempting to return to Walmart and will buy a different thermometer, hopefully with better results.

Samsung Healthy Living Ear Thermometer does more than just take a temperature. It uses infrared scanning to measure the heat generated by the eardrum and surrounding tissue. This thermometer also has the ability to take temperature of different surfaces. You can hold it above bath water to check the water temperature or near a warming bottle to see if it's ready.
