For the price, this scale is unbeatable. As a breastfeeding mom whose baby's weight plateaued, I was going to rent a scale from a lactation consultant but decided to make this purchase instead and am quite pleased. It is not so sensitive as to get a super accurate reading from pre- and post-feeds (though using kg instead of lbs is more helpful). Overall, it is more than adequate to measure my baby's growth every few days or week.Product Review: Salter baby scale

This was an excellent price for this type of scale. We needed one that we could switch between lbs and kgs. We use it in our spay/neuter clinic to weigh cats & kittens. It does everything we need and we were able to stay within our budget.Product Review: Very Good Product

My wife and I purchased this scale because our new daughter was not gaining weight well with breastfeeding. Having this very accurate scale allowed us to track her weight gain well, adjust feeds as needed and really gave significant piece of mind. Highly reccommended at the price! I got this scale to weigh puppies with when my dogs produce, and have used it with my current dogs and it is the perfect size for small dogs. I like the choice that if you are weighing something and want to lay it on perhaps a blanket, that you can put the blanket on the scale and zero out the scale and then put whatever you are weighing on the scale and get the correct reading.
