We bought this scale when our son was labeled Failure to Thrive. Lactation consultants recommended weighing him before and after nursing. When used on the kg setting and then converted, it weighs to the 1/3 oz. The "Hold" feature makes it easy to get an accurate weight on squirmy babies. We were having trouble with our 3-week old not feeding enough and we needed a good baby scale to track his progress and be able to do weigh-feed-weigh. This scale does the job very well and we have no complaints. Consecutive readings are always consistent.Product Review: Accurate and easy to use!

I purchased this scale to weigh one of my cats that has some health issues. I love the hold function and that the denomination goes to the 1/2 oz. For fun and to test its accuracy we weighed flour and sugar in different amounts. Every reading was exactly as it was suppose to be! Because of the curvature of the scale's "bowl", two of my cats like to curl up on it for afternoon naps. Easy to use and great for the price!Product Review: Accurate and well made

This scale was always right on what our baby weighed at the doctor's office. It's good for squirming babies because the reading settles quickly and you can freeze it. You can take the trey off and use it for a toddler scale.Product Review: Accurate weight, but too small for tall babies!

I recieved this scale in the mail today, which worked out well since my son just had his 4 month check up this morning and was weighed at the Dr's so I have an accurate weight to compare it to. This morning at the Dr my son was 16lbs 10oz and on this scale this evening he was 16lbs 8oz so I feel it is really pretty accurate. However the scale does NOT come with batteries as stated on the amazon.com listing. I had to run out and buy batteries because i was so excited to try it. Also the baby bed needs to be longer. My son is only 4months old and his legs hang off completly so I worry in a few months his length and half half of his body hanging off the scale will make the weight inaccurate. So this scale might not be good for taller babies. My son is 26.75" long.
