Customer Review: Definitely not for short hair on chin

I purchased this item because I suffer from PCOS which causes hair growth on my chin. I was hoping this item would remove it so I do not have to shave it daily. This page says "will work on short hair" above. The directions in the box say to grow your hair out for 21 days! I let my hair grow out for a week. Let me tell you that was so embarassing since I work in my home with kids and you know how kids will say the darndest things.I'm sure their parents were wondering when I turned into a hairy beast too. I would say my hair was about 1/2 in and the directions specifically say 1/4 and it did not rip a single piece off my freshly washed not lotioned chin. I did give it 3 stars because it did a fantastic job on my eye brows. Scares me how long I will have to let them grow out before I can use it again.....
