As a grad student putting in some long hours, this gum is a life saver. I wish I didn't have to use caffeine at all but usually I try to just drink tea cause it's more healthy. But when I really need a kick in the butt, this is definitely the ticket. The thing is, I have a really sensitive stomach and usually have a problem with coffee or tea. But not with this gum. I don't get the shakes or stomach pain. I just wake up. And I don't know why people think it's so bitter. Sure, it doesn't taste like candy. But that's the point. You shouldn't be chewing it for the taste. It's to keep you awake when you need to stay alert. And for that it works great.Product Review: It works

I read the other reviews and decided to try it. It works. I agree with some others that it is not the best testing gum but its not bad. I didn't buy it for taste. The point is I needed something to give me a boost and this does the trick.Product Review: Just what I needed

Received the gun two days back, and been loving. Initially I was a little hesitant to eat it because I was expecting its bitterness to hit my mouth as soon as I chewed it (thats the idea I got from some of the reviews) but honestly its not bitter AT ALL. In fact, my normal coffee tastes more bitter than this. Its a great alternative to coffee or energy drinks. I consume a lot of caffeine and used to drink a lot of Monster but now this works as a great substitute. I would have to say it is effective, partly because of the 100mg of caffeine, and partly because of the placebo effect.
Loving it and probably gonna be buying a lot more of it in the near future.

Tastes okay at the start but after about 5 minutes starts to taste medicine like, but I guess that's expected from a strong caffeine gum product.
