Product Review: Not for petite women with large buttocks

I suffer from sciatica and SI pain. The reviews sounded wonderful, so I purchased one of these SI-LOC belts. I am a petite woman, about 5' 1" and weigh about 135 lbs. I have very round buttocks(mine are literally shaped like bowling balls) and this belt did not quite work for my body shape. The belt rolled up the back side of my buttocks even after tightening the belt. The belt would not stay on the sacrum (as per instructions). The more I loosened the belt, the less effective it seemed to feel. The more I tightened it, the higher up it rolled. This belt may work for others, but not for me.Product Review: Pain free at last!

I had suffered from sciatica for three years. Therapy, pain relievers, chiropractors, all only gave temporary help. Then a friend told me about this little device. I purchased it (it arrived real fast too!) and put it on. In one minute I went through a million years of evolution and began walking upright! I wore it all night as directed. In the morning it felt as if I never had the pain in the first place! I now wear it everyday, and do certain exercises to strenghten the the support muscles in that area (I'm a certified personal trainer). My problem is now fast becomming a thing of the past. Normally I never bother with such things - but now I tell everyone and anyone who has a sciatica problem about this little device, and where to get it! I had an accident about twelve years ago, where I fell on my tailbone. Over time I have started to have a lot of back pain and hip pain. I'm only 25 so that just doesn't work for me. I'm also a Pilates Studio Owner and Instructor. I have recommended this item to a few of my clients who suffer from these problems as well. It definitely helps stabilize the lower back, which stops the pain and helps you get stronger in the exact places you need to. I would definitely recommend this to a lot of people. This belt has helped me tremendously ~ I had terrible back/hip pain that is now minimized. My hips are held in place so I no longer 'slip out of joint' and begin to fall. I wear it all day. The directions say to wear it 24 hrs. a day, but when wearing it at night, it slips up towards my waist, so is not efficient then. I wear it UNDER my underclothing, so it is easy to go to the bathroom, etc. It stays in place and is not very visible, although I wear my jeans and I use my shirt or sweater untucked. I may be self-conscious now that summer weather is approaching and skimpier clothing will be worn. But it has helped me so much I may not care.Product Review: Si-Loc Belt by OPTP is Excellent.

I find this belt excellent. The width makes it non slippery. Also it can be tightened more. Buy it if you need this type of belt. Forget about those other skinny belts. I am fully sold on it.
