First, I'd like to say that for price this item is a good buy. The lights are more functional than I expected. However, the ability to flip the lens up out of the way to look at something else seems to be an issue at least for me. This might be an issue for every day use, but for me I just remove them from my head.Product Review: Helpful but heavy

I bought these for my mom, who was always an avid reader but has macular degeneration. We were hoping they would allow her to get back to her lifelong passion for books. She says they work quite well and she uses them for things like making out bills, but that they are too heavy to read for long periods.
