My wife borrowed my only pair of thinning shears a year ago and (can you believe it?) she hasn't returned them. Which means that when one of my customers wants their hair thinned I have to use a dangerous texturizing technique which usually results in me cutting myself and bleeding all my cheap customers and their dried-out over processed hair. Really they've permed and colored and flat ironed their hair until it resembles hemp rope. No more porous than hemp. More like dried cactus. Yes that's it. Husks of dried cactus fiber. Like the first native Americans who arrived here with nothing but six wives and a sack of whale blubber.
