Customer Review: The Standard in Pitchers

I'm not exactly sure why one would want six 1-gallon pitchers (church group? scouts?) but one of them is great. It holds a great deal of Kool-Aid or lemonade for those hot summer days, and ours has held up marvelously over the years.
The handle is sturdy and the body is sturdy and drop resistent. The top however, won't stay in if the pitcher is dropped, so keep that in mind when handing it off to smaller children -- a gallon can be heavy. The top has the standard free-flow and straining options so you can stop ice, fruit, whatever isn't liquid, from streaming out. You can, of course, turn the top half-way between these options to keep down sloshing.
All-in-all a sturdy, dishwasher safe, pitcher.
