I have been on crutches for a week. My arms are sore and bruised, have fallen twice, I can't maneuver stairs. It has been a very frustrating week. I believe all podiatrists and orthopedists should offer more than one alternative for mobility post operatively. Especially for NWB status for 6-8 weeks!! I cannot be so limited for such a long period of time. This little cart has offered me the freedom to move about my home with the use of my hands while doing so. I have been able to sweep, do laundry, empty and fill the dishwasher, pick items up off the floor. It has changed my morale 100% since the surgery. It is hard to steer, as a matter of fact you can't steer it at all. The wheels move to the direction in which you push it with your legs while walking. It is hard to move out of tight spots, but I just pick it up, point it in the direction I want it to go and move forward. I can't imagine giving less than 5 stars if you compare it to crutches. It isn't awful, has it's drawbacks, but way better than crutches!!!!
