This mask is awesome. I've been sleeping with a mask for about a year and this one is the best. I love the complete coverage as well as the fact that it's a noise buffer with the design going over the ears. We have a newborn and so the lights are off and on a lot all night so my husband tried out the mask and I haven't gotten it back! I've tried so many uncomfortable or ineffective sleep masks that when I found this one, it felt like love! Someone named Judy wrote on Amazon that they had "mold allergies" to this product. I'm SUCH an allergy person that I once considered having my sinuses surgically removed, and would have if someone who'd done that hadn't dissuaded me. Anyway, I can't believe Judy's experience wasn't a coincidence, because I, my son, and many other allergy sufferers love this mask.(I can tell if a house has mold in it within minutes because my throat and nasal passages seem to swell and my voice gets husky and I have to take benadryl and get out FAST. So I'm sure this mask does not have that problem.)
It's expensive compared to the crummy ones, of course. But it feels lovely, and looks lovely, too. Great present, btw. I've given many to friends including allergy-sufferers like me. I give them as general presents, hostess gifts, stocking stuffers -- and as a gift to anyone I visit in a hospital. (Hospitals seem to specialize in keeping their patients awake.)

I am a 53 y/o woman who can't sleep with any light or sound (unless it's "white" sound). Now, I have tried dozens of eye/sleep masks, including magnetic therapy. This mask not only FEELS comfy, it COMPLETELY blocks out light and GREATLY minimizes sound. I lived in an apartment building for 2 years and wouldn't have been able to survive it not for this mask. Nothing like it! I'm sort of like a baby who can't sleep without his blanket, but for me it's this sleep mask! God forbid I can't find it at night, the whole house is in an uproar looking for mama's sleep mask! Today I ordered my second sleep mask as I wash mine once a week when I wash my sheets, this way I won't have to worry about it drying on time (I wash by hand in the sink and hang to dry). The mask is over 2 years old and still in excellent condition! Order one, order two, you will be HAPPY beyond belief with this mask!
