These are good for keeping out light, but have a few drawbacks. They are very thick and warm. This might be fine during the winter. Unfortunately, during the summer they feel too hot and sweaty. Also, beware where you place these after wearing them. The built up moisture from having them on can cause the dyes to bleed onto their resting surface.Product Review: Love it!

I love this mask. Took it to Egypt and wore it on a long bus trip. The strap is long enough to fit around my noise canceling headphones and it is soft enough to fit snugly without being uncomfortable.Product Review: A great service and product

"Great mask. It's a perfect complement to winding down at night. Effectively blocks out all light and is super soft over the eyes. I've tried so many uncomfortable or ineffective sleep masks that when I found this one, it felt like love! Someone named Judy wrote on Amazon that they had "mold allergies" to this product. I'm SUCH an allergy person that I once considered having my sinuses surgically removed, and would have if someone who'd done that hadn't dissuaded me. Anyway, I can't believe Judy's experience wasn't a coincidence, because I, my son, and many other allergy sufferers love this mask.(I can tell if a house has mold in it within minutes because my throat and nasal passages seem to swell and my voice gets husky and I have to take benadryl and get out FAST. So I'm sure this mask does not have that problem.)
It's expensive compared to the crummy ones, of course. But it feels lovely, and looks lovely, too. Great present, btw. I've given many to friends including allergy-sufferers like me. I give them as general presents, hostess gifts, stocking stuffers -- and as a gift to anyone I visit in a hospital. (Hospitals seem to specialize in keeping their patients awake.)

Buy one you will love it! Stop wasting your money on cheap alternatives. This product is the best on the market. I take naps every day... The mask is comfortable, effective, and made to last. I highly recommend it!
