Product Review: Disappointing

I am no longer able to shave my underarms do to health reasons, so I now have to use an electric shaver. After reading the reviews, I purchased this one. The first time I tried it in the shower, it pulled and pinched a lot. I followed the directions and wasn't using much pressure at all. It really irritated my underarms and it lasted for several days. I tried it again with the same results. I do have very curly hair and that might have some impact on the the shaver's performance. Since this is my first experience with an underarm electric shaver, I don't know if this is normal--but I'll definitely be looking for another one. Gave it two stars because it looks and feels good and seems to be a good product--just doesn't work for me.

I purchased this razor based on the reviews I read. I noted that one woman complained about irritation and welts, and that another woman said her husband claimed that the woman experienced irritation because she pressed down too hard with the razor. That husband doesn't know what he's talking about.
I tried my new razor on my underarms using almost NO pressure. The irritation was horrible, and I was left with red welts. Bravely, I used it on my legs. I had no irritation whatsoever on my legs, and got a very nice shave.
The underarm irritation lasted over a week. Once the irritation was gone, I tried the razor again. (I thought that maybe the irritation came because it was the very first use of the razor. Also, the instructions say that it takes three uses for your skin to get used to the razor.)
Unfortunately, I again experienced irritation. It was not as bad as the first time, but was present for over a week.
I don't know if eventually the razor will stop irritating my underarms or not, but I am disappointed in the product. I have owned electric razors in the past (dating back to the 1970's) and have never experienced irritation like this with a new razor. This is the first electric razor I have purchased in at least a decade.
I gave it three stars because it does shave nicely on my legs (and even the bikini area - if you are gentle and careful), but I really needed it for my underarms (the hair grows faster and is more obvious there.)

Update: I have used this razor several times on my underarms, and it is not getting any better. It pinches and "bites". I would never have purchased this razor if I had known that I could not shave my underarms with it.

Product Review: Do not buy!

I was tired of spending $5 for replacement razors and nicking/cutting my legs all the time, so I decided to buy an electric razor. For the first 2 weeks, I had horrible razor rash (and I even used soap). I have had the product since the beginning of October and it has pretty much completely quit shaving. I have to go over the same exact spot at least 5 times in order to remove the hair and it still leaves stubble. I like to have a close shave and this defiantly does not give me that, I feel almost like I didn't shave when I use this product. The one nice thing was I never cut or nicked myself. Oh well, I guess I'll be finding a new electric razor but in the mean time it's back to the $5 replacement cartridges.

Product Review: Electric Razor for women-great but not amazing

The product came in packaging, perfect condition, charges good, definitely chargefor like a day when you first get it so it is fully powered. My legs adjusted fine to it, I only had redness the first time, others say up to three weeks. I like the razor alot, but I expected a bit of a closer shave from it, it hasn't givenme that much of a closer shave, but maybe if i let the hair grow longer ( I don't want it to grow longer thats why I have the razor?). either way content for the most part.
