Product Review: A pretty fast shave

For the price I think this is a really great razor considering I have seen many much more expensive electric ones. It gets the job done but you have to go over the spot you are shaving a few times. I like it because you can shave pretty quickly without having to get wet. It is possible to use this as a wet or dry shave though I have only used it dry. Another thing I like about it, is that it is easy to clean unlike my last electric razor it comes with a brush and you can just pop the top open and brush the hair out. It seems to hold a charge well, fits nicely in your hand and has an easily accessible on/off switch. Overall I think it is a great deal for the price and I would buy it again!Product Review: A real gem for the price!

This is the first rechargeable shaver I have owned and I really like that feature. The good reviews and the price motivated me into choosing the Remington Smooth and Silky Ultra Shaver and I am glad I did.
I have absolutely no complaints or have I had any problems using this shaver. I have not and probably will not use it wet...just my preference.

I have purchased more types of hair removers than I care to admit to over the years and this is the only one I actually enjoy using. For the price you can't beat it. This product is the closest, most comfortable shave I have ever gotten from an electric razor. WOW and thank you Remington.Product Review: Annoyed

I ordered two of these shavers (one for my sister and one for myself) based on both of us using previous incarnations of these shavers and being quite satisfied but due to age, dullness of blades, and batteries not holding charges for long felt that it was time to replace the older models with this newer one.
Ironically, my shaver worked well from the get go (having charged it overnight on removing it from the packaging). My sister's shaver did not work at all (after charging it overnight and subsequently charging it for weeks thereafter). Unfortunately by the time she told me and gave it back to me it was too late to return it to Amazon for a free replacement so I'm STUCK with a non-functioning shaver, and no refund or replacement and my sister is still using her old one!
So I've given this one only 3 stars because one shaver (mine) has worked excellently (no complaints) from the time of delivery and the other shaver (my sister's) HAS NOT, and because I'm a bit annoyed that Amazon has sold something to me that is defective (when I have had only good experiences with Amazon over the years except for one other non-delivery of an item snafu which Amazon quickly rectified)!
