This trimmer is so cool! I don't use it on my head. I have been trimming my body hair, legs, chest, arms, etc., for years with regular hair clippers, the worst hour every few months of my life! With the Remington trimmer I can set the depth to one or two and simply rub it over my entire body. The result is an entire body trim at shaved close or slightly longer. I recommend this trimmer wholeheartedly. I can grab this thing at any second and trim the back of my neck or arms, where ever needed. I like to be trimmed up, looking good and with this product I get just that!Product Review: Able clipper with flaws

I've owned this trimmer for 9+ months now and use it (as directed) at least once per month. In the beginning, it was just fine... I performed as advertised. However, after about 5 or 6 months I noticed that it does not hold a charge as well as it did in the beginning. I can charge it up and then go to use it, and it will only last about 10 minutes. This is not enough time to trim your entire head of hair.
Would not recommend it to anyone that I know. I've gone back to using my Wahl brand corded trimmer, at least I know that won't run out of juice.

Naturally it all depends on what your objective is, mine was to cut pretty much all the hair on my head off (due to male pattern balding starting the job off for me). This unit does a bang up job, and was much easier than the clippers I was using (takes only a few minutes to cut the entire head). Being wireless is also a huge plus. It also works great on body hair. Some reviewers complained about it being curved and this causing a problem for cutting non head-shaped places but I have not experienced any problems with is. I am exceptionally happy with the Shortcut!
Update 10/27/09: After 2 failures I have decided this is garbage. They simple stop working after a few weeks, one failed, I sent it back and to their credit they did send a replacement, but it also failed after a few weeks. Used each maybe 3 times.
