I originally ordered the Remington 7000 Smooth & Silky from Amazon in 2006, this razor came with the cleaning station--I loved this razor, when this one went out I ordered a second one of the same model in 2010, this one only lasted about 3 months, when I contacted Remington about the razor they had me send it in with my receipt. They sent me a replacement razor which was the Remington 3600 Smooth & Silky, piece of crap. No comparison, the 3600 is horrible to use, I have never had trouble with razor burn with my previous electric razors but I have plenty of issues with this one. Plus there is no cleaning system other than the plastic brush, I liked the 7000 so much better and of course they don't sell them anymore. I am trashing the 3600 and looking for something better.
