Product Review: Two heads better than three?

Owned several Remingtons and Norelcos in the past. Often even used both during a shave because the Remington did a better job than the Norelco on certain areas.
In a recent Consumers Report, this Remington was rated a best buy. Have used this exclusively for over a month and it's performed better than any previous shaver. Perhaps simplifying by just using two heads makes it better. Close, comfortable shaves. Gave my Norelco to Habitat.

I have purchased and used this brand and specific product before. It gives a very close, comfortable shave. Can be used with or without cord for convenience. Short recharge time provides several lengthy shaves. Two year warranty is a plus and unusual for such a product. Also, the cost for replacement blades and foil is significantly less than similar products or rotary type shavers. Only complaint, it is somewhat noisy. Bought the MS2-390 after seeing it highly rated in consumer reports. First Remington I've owned in 15 years (I've had all Norelcos since) and they've definitely improved.
Gives a VERY close shave. I only shave every 3-4 days, and no shaver I've ever had will get all the longish hairs the first time. The MS2-390's no different, and you do have to make a second/final pass to get the remaining stragglers. If you shave every day, that shouldn't be as much of a problem.
Surprisingly Great Feature: The middle position on the trimmer that lines it up even with the main cutters. Lets you mow down several days of growth just before the main cutters finish the hairs off.
It's not perfect of course, but for under $50, I have no regrets at all with this shaver.

TOO LOUD--POOR CUTTING --ALL AROUND THE WORST ELECTRIC RAZOR I;VE USED IN THE PAST 40 YEARS! It's going in the garbage where it belongs.
