Product Reviews of Remington MS2-390 Microscreen Rechargeable/Corded Men's ShaverProduct Review: No need to buy Summary: 2 StarsBought this based on Consumers Report. It misses a lot in same areas and then have to shave normally to get long whiskers. Not a good shaver.
Product Review: Back to Norelco Summary: 1 StarsThis razor from China worked so so for two weeks then died. Price was low and if it kept working I probably would have kept it. But now I think I will go back to Norelco, if they are still made in Holland.
Product Review: Never gives a "real" shave. Summary: 2 StarsShaving with this so far, even with the "shaver saver" and other such things, has been tedious due to its simple lack of ability to give you a decent shave. No matter how hard I've tried with this thing, I always find myself reaching back for my good ol' three-blade & Barbasol.
Product Review: One of the best dual Micro-Foil Men's Electric Shavers out there Summary: 5 StarsThis Remington dual foil MS2-390 replaced my MS2-370 which was identical except that the 390 can be rinsed clean under water. Both the 370 and the 390 use the same cutter heads and micro-foils and both shave closer than a blade. I bought the 390 so I can have a nearly identical spare shaver on hand in case of an emergency. I've also used rotary style electric razors in the past, however for my beard which tends to lay at an angle in some areas, I've found the micro-screen styles like the 370/390 to shave closer and faster. An excellent product for my kind of beard.
Product Review: Old shaving technology give so-so shave Summary: 2 StarsI used Remington electric razors from 1963 until 1995+ and then started buying Panasonic and similar Linear- high speed razors. I was surprised when this Remington got better reviews than any other brand. But when used the shaver, I found it no better than the 1990's version. I want to find that review and make certain to avoid that source, as it obviously was a OEM influenced ranking- where the highest fee or advertizing payment gets the best rating. Don't waste $50 on the Remington, invest $85 in the most economical Linear Panasonic.
