This is one of the most amazing appliances for the home barring none. What appliance can pay for itself after only two uses.
As far as performance-Never needs oiling, cuts great and best the vacuum feature works flawlessly. You won't have any hairs to sweep up.
I may sound like a paid voice for this product, but my only motivation, is to let all know, it's absolutely great!
Five Stars-for sure.

Wow, this haircut really does the job. After using it on me there was nothing on the ground. The vacuum container can take a lot more hair than everybody can imagine. I bought the Remington HKVAC-2000 last year and I have been using it since. I gave it to my brother whan I went back home, because he loved it. When I camme back I bought a new one last month. This machine is amazing and very precise. It cuts the hair smoothly and vacuums the cut hair and there is not any need to clean the floor after the hair cut. I started going with the close cut hair style back in 2000 so I've used a variety of devices. Until I got the HKVAC-2000 I was never very impressed with a trimmer. Then I got this baby and took it for a test drive and I was sold! This is by far the best thing I've ever used for cutting hair. I even use it to cut my 4-year-old's hair, sometimes while he is watching TV, it's that easy to use! I've been using it now for several years without incident.
Razor sharp cutting blades, hair catching action, easy to clean, an assortment of attachments, relatively quiet operation (not as loud as a hair dryer), easy empty hair cartridge, adequate cord length, lightweight (the weight is in the wall-wort), and reliable.
You can't go wrong with this one! Highly recommended. Pays for itself in a matter of months.

I used a Flowbee for ten years. It was funky and clunky but gave a decent cut. Recently the blades went dull and refused to cut. So I decided to donate it to Goodwill, embrace technology and get its latest competitor. After all, it sells for just twenty-five bucks.
I was a bit nervous but not like I was on the first Flowbee cut. Anyway, this Remington works like a charm and a whole lot easier to handle. First thing I heard today was, "who cuts your hair?" I had to make sure the question was meant as a compliment -- it was.
If I was a barber I'd be pretty nervous these days.
