The clippers them selves seem to be well made and a quality product.
The plastic used in the Guards and other accessories is somewhat cheap, They haven't broken yet, but are made of the type of plastic that will dry-out easily over time and become brittal.
I was hoping the battery pack of the main clippers would be standard AA rechargable batteries or something like that, that could be easily replaced over time when they loose their ability to hold a charge. They are not, instead it is a custom battery pack that you do not have the ability to replace over time.
The unit has a Red "charging" LED, but it does not ever turn green to indicate a full charge, the manual says "you can not over charge"
Overall: decent product for home use. Not what I would consider a commercial grade product.
I have owned this product about 2 months and based on this believe It will last me 2-4 years, using it on one individual once a week. When purchasing it originally I was hoping I could use it for 3-5 years easily.
