These curlers are great if you are looking for compact but they are mislabeled. I have been using curlers for years and these curlers were small and medium in size not large and x-large as they are labeled on the box. I usually use Caruso steam rollers but wanted an electric set for traveling because I thought my hair styling would be quicker. Wrong! These rollers only got a little warm and after my set I barley noticed a difference. Needless to say, I returned them the very next day. These seemed like a good alternative to a full-size roller set for travel, and they are BUT they don't heat to a hot enough temperature to curl. A real drawback for HOT curlers to be tepid. I once let them heat for 90 minutes and they still weren't hot. I would award them no stars but the posting software isn't permitting that.Product Review: Don't Bother . . .

I bought these for travel purposes. I already own a Caruso Salon 30 Steam set, which are Fantastic and give me curls that I can sleep in and remain until the next morning. The Remington Travel Set is heavy. Too heavy for travelling. The rollers did not heat up very hot. They are also heavy and the metal clips do not hold the rollers in place very well. I got hardly any curl at all. Very disappointed. The unit contains 5 large and 5 medium rollers; not 5 large and 5 extra large as advertised. I'll stick to my Caruso Steam Rollers. They are #1 !
