This was a present for father's day. I had never purchased one before, so I don't have anything to compare it to. Nonetheless, I feel it works alright but is nothing too spectacular. We used it for awhile, but now it sits in the spare bedroom. I researched other models and found this one to be the best for the price, so maybe I'm being overlly critical. I will say, I think, the machine is a little noisy, maybe this is standard of foot massagers, I'm not sure, but it can become distracting.

This is the ultimate experience in foot massaging. This is a regenesis swirl & soothe foot massager. This is what the professionals use in the most expensive spa's around the world to soothe aching & tired feet. This machine has powerful kneading motors. comes with a reote control, speed control with indicator lights, forward or reverse, large button controls, washable outer cover, great as a gift.Don?t be fooled by the odd shape--although it looks like a fax machine, the Swirl & Soothe is actually a powerful foot massager. Covered rollers along the top soothe tired, achy feet with a strong kneading motion that more closely resembles a massage from a personal masseuse. You can adjust the rollers to go in either a forward or reverse direction and alternate the massage action between high and low speeds. The large, easy-to-use buttons can be accessed by either fingers or toes; however, a remote control comes with the unit so there?s never any need to bend over to reach the controls. For safety, this foot massager has two power buttons: one on its side and one on top. The cover over the rollers is removable and washable but, for durability, the rollers are protected by a second permanent interior cover.
