UncariaPro - (Uncaria tomentosa) is a vine from Peru, also known as Cat's Claw. It has been clinically proven to block the genes that promote inflammation by removing a protein that acts as the master switch for inflammation.
MacaPro - (Lepidium meyenii walp) is a vegetable, also from Peru. Maca is a vegetable related to the turnip. It is grown in the Andes mountains of Peru. In a published, scientific study, Maca was shown to activate the local IGF-1 production in the joints. IGF-1 or Insulin Growth Factor- 1 is the master repair gene. It is switched off when the body is in a state or inflammation. IGF-1 also declines dramatically with age, thus, limiting the body's ability to repair itself.
