Product Reviews of Rayovac Rechargeable NiMH Battery, 9-Volt Size, 1-Count Package (Pack of 3) - Packaging May VaryProduct Review: Fine Product So Far Summary: 5 Stars
These batteries charged just fine, but I have not had a chance to test their longivity. I would assume they would be fine.
Product Review: Good choice for electronic equipment Summary: 5 Stars
Yes, there is a lot to say about rechargeable batteries. There are several types out there. This 9-volt cell is a Nickel-Metal-Hydride (NiMH) chemistry.
We use this cell for our PA cordless microphones (both professional Shure transmitters). The NiMH chemistry allows us these advantages: (1) No gradual fall-off of power--the battery delivers nearly full current until just before it is exhausted; (2) Delivers that current over a relatively long period of time--we can keep the device powered for 90 minutes without worry; (3) No "memory effect" when recharging--we simply insert the cell into the charger at whatever charge level without concern of shortening battery life. We use this charger: Rayovac Universal Battery Charger for Rechargeable AA, AAA, C, D, and 9-Volt Batteries.
I'd recommend this cell unreservedly, especially with the 3-pack bundle in which Amazon offers it.
Product Review: Great Batteries Summary: 5 Stars
These hold a charge for a long time and seem to keep going longer than regular rechargable batteries. I don't know how long they will last but their performance so far is awesome.
Product Review: Great for my Vintage 1975 Pocke Football Game Summary: 5 Stars
WOW... I put these batteries in my Vintage 1975 Pocket Football game and they worked. Imagine that Batteries that actully power products. These batteries lasted a while too. They're also very good at powering anything that needs a battery. They also give off tiny electrical shocks if you touch the battery ends to your toungue. Hours of Football, Hours of protection, and tiny electric shocks. PRICELESS!!
Product Review: One of three was a dead battery, could not be charged. Summary: 1 Stars
I bought three. Two were fine, one was a dud. I could not charge it up AT ALL.
30% failure rate? Not accetable, worked out too expensive per battery. Another brand had 100% reliable batteries.
