I have a lot of things that use batteries and I was really getting tired of buying regular old batteries. After finding out what old batteries do to the environment I replaced everything with rechargeable batteries. They work great and it seems to me that a charge lasts as long as a regular battery did. If everybody did this it would sure solve one environmental problem at least. The 1800-mAH capacity of these batteries compares poorly with many AA batteries, which store up to 2500 mAH.
C batteries should be able to store at least 5000 mAH. Check the fine print before you buy.
