Product Reviews of Rayovac NM715-8 Rechargeable NiMH AA Batteries, 8-Count PackageProduct Review: Battries Summary: 4 Stars
The batteries were packed well and received quickly.
These are great to use on baby toys (as well as your big kid toys)... just buy an extra set so you can always have a set charging while the other is in the toy.
The only reason I mention that is because the batteries do run down kind of quickly, and take up to 8 hours to fully charge.
But I'm not complaining... while there is an initial investment, think of the money you'll save on buying new batteries all the time. And you'll be doing a small part for the environment by not throwing out batteries all the time.
Product Review: Better Rechargeables Summary: 5 Stars
I recently read a review declaring longer life out of the competitors NiMHs. From personal experience, I can say that is not the case. Quite unintentionally, I purchased batteries with chargers from 3 different companies over the past few years and have had some time to use them on a regular basis in Wii-motes, digital cameras, and portable recorders. The Rayovac AAs last longer per charge, and have a better over all battery life. I suspect the better quality of the charger has something to do with that.
Product Review: Better than anyother rechareable I have used Summary: 5 Stars
I have used Sanyo, and another less expensive brand NiMH. None of them held a charge very long. These batteries, hold a charge as well as buying a new throwaway, however the charge lasts longer. I am thrilled, I just ordered another Rayovac charger and C, and D rechargeable's. It may cost me more now however it will save me more, and be good for the environment as well.
Product Review: Great Deal ! Good Product ! Summary: 3 Stars
A great Deal, of a known Name Product ! at a good Price! Shipping was a little slow! But worth the deal!
Product Review: It does not last long!!! Summary: 2 Stars
I recieved Rayovac NM715-8 2000mAh, not Rayovac NM715-8 1800mAh.
Rayovac claims this battery lasts 3X longer than standard alkaline battery, but in fact it does not. Two of this fully charged batteries died after 2.5 hrs when I used them for my Garmin I3 while two of Duracell alkaline batteries gave me almost 6 hrs. I recharged the two batteries over night and tried again, I got the same result. I would not recomment this product to anyone!
