The typical rechargeable C cell has 5000 to 6000 mAh of capacity. A tiny AA battery usually has 2500 mAh +/-. This battery has 1800 mAh.Product Review: came quickly

As far as I can tell, the batteries are fine. I have yet to put them where I want them but that sure is not the sellers fault.
