It's got a nice bright bulb, and a very good, highly reflective cone which focuses the light well. The grip on the unit is pretty well-designed and comfortable as well.
Unfortunately, that's the end of the pros. The switch is very sensitive, the slightest little touch or vibration and it turns on. I barely ever used it, but it was always dead when I needed it, and I had to replace the batteries every few weeks to keep it alive.
Also, the cap on the bottom is very flexible and has very fine threads, so it's quite difficult to re-tighten the cap properly. The ring on the bottom is a very fragile piece of plastic, making the ring completely useless.
I don't recomend this product.
