Product Review: Air Cleaner Positioning.
Summary: 4 Stars

Its important to consider placement of an air cleaner unit in relation to the architecture of the house. Generally speaking it is better to purchase an air cleaner that is rated for a much larger space than it will be used in, additionally, the paper listed below, is a study that models the fluid dynamics of an interior space for a particular home and indicates that the placement of the portable air cleaner can affect its performance anywhere from 2x upward.

Generally speaking, it is better to place an air cleaner in the center of the home, or in a smaller space such as an individual room, towards the center instead of off into a corner.

my husband has really bad breathing problems and this has saved his life! Now he can breath better! it is quiet and the air it puts out makes you feel like you are in the mountains:) Plus it looks nice and you can pick colors to match your home.

Product Review: Excellent Air Purifier
Summary: 4 Stars

Pros:
Compared to most other air purifiers this one looks a lot better due to the modern design and the great looking LCD.
Has an odor and particle/dust sensor for those who use it on auto setting.
It is indeed extremely quiet on the lowest setting even enough to be called dead quiet. I am quite picky with noise level and demand everything to be near silent.
Silence was a key factor in my purchase! I could not stand that other companies advertise "super quiet" when they were still quite loud.
I know it has already been mentioned several times, but even I had to try it... Yes, farting at the air purifier makes the odor sensor go to red and kicks the fan to the max.
Do not intentionally blast a packet of smelly air at the sensor or it will be on red/orange for quite sometime. So do not fart at the sensor with your bare bottom... or it will be running on max for more than 20 minutes. Could be just an issue with my air purifier though.

Cons:
Sometimes the sensor is too sensitive and goes up for no apparent reason such as right now... I have been in my room (closed door) for over a hour and the air purifier has sped up several times, on the auto setting, due to the hyperactive odor sensor.
Has a flimsy front cover (plastic, but not really a big deal.
Perhaps it is best to stay in a bedroom or a smaller room since it isn't as effective in larger room (living room for example).
Cannot turn off or dim the LCD brightness which makes it somewhat annoying if you sleep with it on. You would kind of expect an expensive air purifier to have this feature.
Remote has to be aimed directly at the unit and doesn't have long range.

Conclusion:
An air purifier that is almost perfect for a bedroom (the only issue is with the inability to turn off / dim the LCD)!

Other thoughts:
One user mentioned the difficulty in taking out the remote's battery. The best way would be to study the manual again (look at the arrows) and once you know how to do it properly it is extremely easy. Basically you have to push the little clamp to the right and at the same time use your fingernail to pull the battery holder out.
Another user said the loudest fan setting is extremely quiet. Well I have to say at the max, it is quite loud and pretty much unbearable for longer periods. I am not sure if that user is somewhat deaf, but you will get hearing damage with prolonged periods at that volume...

Edited: Does have a 5 year, not a 1 year warranty! My apologizes.

Product Review: Great Product
Summary: 5 Stars

I previously owned a Honeywell HFD-130 and an Ionic Pro, both of which I regret buying. This Rabbit Air BioGS 421A has the features that I was looking for. First of all, the unit is extremely quiet at low settings to the point that you'd think it is off. Second, is the airflow - I never thought an air purifier could push so much air. Third, would be cleaning - wash/change the filter, wipe a few parts, and you're done. Both the Honeywell and Ionic Pro I previously owned were very tedious to clean as there were areas in the unit that were unreachable. Fourth would be the auto-feature that works with the air quality and odor sensors. And lastly, no ozone. In my opinion, this product is well worth the price.

Product Review: Great Unit Overall
Summary: 4 Stars

I recently bought this unit because I moved to a new apartment and my neighbor is a smoker. I get the smell of cigarette smoke in my apartment quite often and it makes me feel sick and gives me a headache. The best solution would be to ask my neighbor not to smoke inside his unit, but I can't do that. I also get weird food smells from some international cooking that takes place downstairs, and they can be really strong and unpleasant. The unit does not prevent the smoke from entering my apartment, but it does take care of the smell quickly. Also, I have not noticed any of the odor from the cooking. The activated carbon filter is undoubtedly responsible for the clean up of the odors (maybe the hepa filter helps with smoke particulates some too). The only problem I have come across is that the chemical "nose" that detects odors for automatic fan setting is not effective at low fan speeds. That is, it does not move enough air past the sensor to detect some chemicals in the air when the fan is at the lowest speed. When I turn on the "turbo" mode, often the chemical sensor then picks up the smells and runs the auto feature from there. It cleans up the smells and then returns to the low fan setting in which it is not effective at picking up the odors again. However, any time I get bothered, I just turn on the turbo and let it clean up. If my neighbor decides to go "chimney" for a little while, I just put the fan on medium continuously and it doesn't bother me much. Other than the failure of the chemical sniffer at low fan speeds, this unit works wonderfully! If only I could use my remote to put out my neighbors cigarettes.
