Excellent when sitting for long periods. I use it for 4 hour sweat lodges when sitting on the ground. I made cases of large towels so it could be washed easily. The adjust ability of air allows comfort. Good choice.Product Review: You Weren't Meant to Live on Uranus

I work at NASA so I can guarantee that. I first got an AirHawk seat cushion for my motorcycles. It worked so well that I eventually became interested in doing something about my crummy office chair (actually a nice chair but just too darn firm). So I got one of these. They both work very well. Other people have laughed at them right up till the moment when they tried them... then the laughter stopped very quickly. And a few have subsequently bought their own.
I fully believe that in a time when we are hearing about record levels of blood clots in legs and the related health risks, a person should not spend long hours in a seated position without using something like this to maximize comfort and blood flow.
I strongly recommend getting one of these for the office and also for traveling. It could easily be used on your car seat or in an airplane.
